Web Application of Water Polo

This bachelor's thesis contains description of a design and implementation of an information system for water polo club. Information system stores informations about matches, players, articles, photos, teams, etc. It stores informations about results of this matches too and also it is able to generate some statistics from this records. Access to this application is hierarchic in compliance with rights of an individual user autentificated by password. It is some kind of simple content management system. System also contains one specific method of artificial intelligence, which links free referees to the matches that should be played. Application is created for effective and synoptical management of informations presented above.

Next, it explores the concept of user interface and datamodel represented by an ER diagram. Finally, the thesis will discuss the implementation and testing of the system.

Web Page Classification

This paper presents problem of automatic webpages classification using association rules based classifier. Classification problem is presented, as a one of datamining technique, in context of mining knowledges from text data. There are many text document classification methods presented with highlighting benefits of classification methods using association rules. The main goal of work is adjusting selected classification method for relation data and design draft of webpages classifier, which classifies pages with the aid of visual properties - independent section layout on the web page, not (only) by textual data. There is also ARC-BC classification method presented as a selected method and as one of intriguing classificators, that derives accuracy and understandableness benefits of all other methods.

The information system audits informations about activities in the mountain club. It contains planned actions, accomplishments in mountains etc. The system accumalates informations about members, their registrations on actions and commnets on articles. User can insert pictures into the photogallery and he can also write an article about mountain theme. Access to this system is hierarchical, based on competence of each user. The system is created for effective and synoptical management of information presented above. System also contains artificial intelligence, which create schedule of actions.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a part of the information system used to record activities for a specific company. The design is based on the results of the analysis of the current situation and the requirement of the submitter. The solution itself will consist of creating a data model, its implementation into the selected software and creation of a user interface. The resulting solution will be economically evaluated in terms of costs and benefits for the company.

Development of the Approach to Social Exclusion from the Point of View of Publications Intended for Social Work

This bachelor thesis has set two goals. The first of them is to map the presentation of socially disadvantaged people from the point of view of publications intended for social work. The second goal is to map the recommended approaches to social work with socially disadvantaged people from the perspective of publications intended for social work. In order to achieve the set goals, a qualitative research strategy and a method of document analysis were chosen. For data processing, a categorical system was used. The research has found that socially disadvantaged people are presented in a very diverse way in the analyzed publications, which reflects the reality of a wide range of clients for whom social work services are intended. Books have often included attributes that may be inherent in people who are affected by social exclusion or at risk of it. By contrast, features related to the process of social exclusion on the part of society were often neglected. From this predominance of attributes on the part of individuals, the reader may get the false impression that social exclusion is mostly a matter of individual inadequacy or a certain personal handicap, and that the role of society in the process of social exclusion (or excluding) is not crucial. The definition of recommended approaches to social work with socially disadvantaged people is understood differently across publications. It is important, however, that in most of the analyzed books these approaches were listed, and in some cases even specified in more detail, which means that familiarity with approaches to social work with socially disadvantaged people is essential for appropriate and professional practice of this profession.
